Before this, I had tried a desktop WordPress client called Lekhonee. Now that I’m “back”, searching through Fedora’s repo I discovered another client named GScribble. Out of the box, the one feature advantage I found with GScribble is that it supports tags, whereas I did not find that possible through Lekhonee.
The advantage of a desktop client is that it’s a quick way to post something without having to load my browser, login, and navigate WordPress’s interface – not to say that it’s particularly arduous, but with a busy lifestyle now (at least, much moreso than when I used to blog more regularly), this should make my blogging less of a task and more of something I can do on a whim,
So, I’m going to give it a try and see what happens.
