This is your Blog and as such, dissent need not be allowed. Those who write in opinions should remember this. A Blog need not be democratic; or rather need be only as democratic as Pakistan ever was. I don’t know much about Arundhati Roy myself. All I know is what she wrote on this issue, which, as I mentioned, I found the points she brought up to be insightful. That has nothing to do with her upbringing, character, or history, neither of which are particularly relevant.
