I remember Roberto from Pyro BBS very well. You had a colorful signature (different color for each letter, or something like), if I'm not mistaken (and I think it changed more than once). But man, that was a long time ago! I think I even remember you had posted some pictures from Mt. Pleasant, but that might have been someone else.

There are a few characters I still remember from back then, and you can see that at least two other regulars found this post and shared it, too. I think I wasn't even a teenager yet (not COPPA back then, either!).

It's funny, most comments I get to this post (and others) are spam, so it's nice to see someone actually posted related to lost era of BBSes!

*laugh* I did a search for "Pyro BBS" to see if I could find an old MOD song that I did back when that BBS was like crack to me. :-) I'm glad that my first experience in networked "online" computers was with Pyro and Computrek.

(I was Roberto on there heh) I'm not sure I would be memorable heh

take care

Angie,

It's good to hear from you. Please send your mother greetings from myself as well as my mother (I haven't told her yet, but I'm sure she would agree). This post is turning out to be a walk down memory lane far more than I had anticipated. I posted it about two-and-a-half years ago, and until Rob's post, all other comments had been spam and I had to delete them. I almost came close to doing the same to his!

Hey Basil!! It's Angie. Shawn forwarded this to all of us. I remember sitting and chatting with you over Pyro! How are you doing?? I was just talking about you to my mom a few days ago when we were looking at St. Patty's day birthday cards! =)

Rob, it's great to hear from you! I never thought my nostalgic post would actually be found by an old user of Pyro BBS. I'll shoot you an e-mail here shortly.

Hey Basil It is I, ACE! (Rob) lol I just read this. Those were the days!! Who knew that was the beginning of such a revolution. How's Aladdin? Send me an e-mail. ***e-mail address edited out***. Rabid Mongoose and all the rest of Pyro BBS would love together if you're still around the C-bus area.
